Los Angeles, CA—July 21, 2025—Standard Communities, a leading national multifamily housing owner and developer, has named Christiana Hollis as Managing Director, Strategy and Operations. She will focus on strategy development, enterprise execution, and will lead cross-functional efforts to build scalable processes, strengthen the company’s structural foundation, and align teams and systems to support Standard’s next phase of growth. Ms. Hollis is based in Los Angeles.

Ms. Hollis served as Chief of Staff at Standard before transitioning into her new role as Managing Director. As Chief of Staff, she was instrumental in driving many of Standard’s most recent strategic initiatives, including the shift to enterprise services model and technology investments to improve operational efficiency

Prior to joining Standard, Ms. Hollis worked at McKinsey & Company where she specialized in developing strategies to support hyper-scaling growth and enhance operational efficiency. As Senior Engagement Manager, she led teams to deliver strategic solutions that generated hundreds of millions of dollars in cost savings and operational improvements for leading financial institutions, technology and public sector agencies.

Prior to McKinsey, Ms. Hollis also spent seven years as a diplomat with the State Department, which saw her dispatched to over a dozen countries including Mexico, Turkey and Canada. She served on the Secretary of State’s staff, focusing on improving operational efficiency to meet the 21st century demands of diplomacy. Ms. Hollis received the Superior Honor Award in recognition of her lasting contributions to the department and several Meritorious Honor Awards.

Ms. Hollis holds a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
