Flexible Time Off (FTO)

Our Flexible Time Off Program for all full-time employees gives employees the flexibility to take personal time without having to worry about how many hours have been accrued. The Company trusts employees to use their best judgment and to be conscientious when deciding how to use FTO, but employees must obtain supervisor approval prior to taking time off.

Medical Coverage

Our insurance carrier is Anthem Blue Cross. Our company offers both HMO and PPO plans. We offer a stipend to all employees to cover up to 80% of their solo monthly premium.

401(k) Plan

We provide a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan to help employees accumulate financial resources for retirement. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan after completion of their 90-day probationary period. Employees are eligible for a Company match (100% on the first 3%, 50% on each of the next 2%) as of the first January 1 or July 1 following completion of one year of service.

Dental and Vision Coverage

Standard Communities self-insures dental and vision coverage through a reimbursement program that allows employees to choose their own care providers.

Hybrid Work Environment

Nothing can replace the collective energy generated when people are physically together in the same place, but we understand the importance of flexibility. That's why we offer a hybrid working environment. Our commitment to our employees is to continuously give the benefits that foster a truly great work environment and culture.

Refresh Fridays

Refresh Fridays are an opportunity for our employees to reflect and focus on self-development. Past Refresh Friday topics have included everything from yoga to stress & resiliency workshops to learning how to lead with empathy. After the session, employees are encouraged to take the afternoon off and recharge from the typical workday.

Mentorship Program

We want all of our employees to feel supported, so we offer all new hires and existing employees the opportunity to participate in our mentorship program where they can grow personally and professionally.

Coffee with the Founders

Once a month, a small group of employees has the opportunity to have (virtual) coffee with our Co-Founders, Jeff and Scott. Employees get to drive the conversations, ask questions, and hear directly from Jeff and Scott on any topic.

Holiday Gatherings

When you work with amazing people, it’s not hard to have a good time. Every December, we bring the entire team together for a few days of connecting, volunteering, and fun.
