This 100% affordable community consists of 239 units in 37 residential buildings on a 22-acre site, located in an Opportunity Zone in San Bernardino, CA. Originally built in 1966, all units are covered by a Project-Based Section 8 Housing Assisted Payment (HAP) contract and will benefit from a comprehensive renovation scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2022. This $20 million renovation features the installation of a 750-kW solar photovoltaic system providing electricity to all apartments and common areas. Individual units and common areas will also be renovated, and amenity spaces upgraded. Robust resident services will also be provided.
